About Munatsuki Sanso

Munatsuki Sanso is on the Fujinomiya route at around 3,590m, Japan’s second-highest mountain hut.

It’s about 40 minutes to the Okumiya shrine at the summit, and about 60 minutes to Kengamine (the highest point).

What you can see here

From the hut, you can enjoy panoramic views of Hakone and the Izu Peninsula, and on clear days even the Boso Peninsula.

At night, experience a breathtaking sea of city lights, the sea of clouds, Shadow Fuji, and a sky full of stars.
